The Rev. Martha Tolen has been awarded the UACC Good Shepherd Award. This award is given to the clergy or layperson who has most exemplified the Good Shepherd in their ministry. After relocating to New York, Rev. Tolen realized the food disparity in her area and opened the Lyons Soup and Sandwich ministry. 

Feeding 80-100 individuals a month, she has helped fill in the food gap in many people's lives. The ministry team she has brought together is a community of support for many! They are eager to help those in need through a simple and nutritious meal. Congratulations, Rev. Martha!
