On March 6, 2021 the UACC was honored to incardinate the Most Rev. Carl G Purvenas-Smith , OSB. Bishop Carl transferred from CACINA to the UACC through the intercommunion agreement that the UACC still maintains.

Bishop Carl has been a long-time friend of our Presiding Bishop
Tony Hash , having been present at his ordination to the priesthood and as a Co-consecrator when he was made Bishop.

As well, Bishop Carl has been a good friend to the UACC being a vocal supporter of the Church during the attempted merger with CACINA. Immediately after being welcomed into the UACC, Bishop Carl assisted as Co-consecrator for the elevation of Bishop Don Pratt, OSFC.
