February 28, 2025 – Today, Presiding Bishop Nicholas Anthony, on behalf of the College of Bishops, issued a statement reaffirming the United American Catholic Church’s steadfast solidarity with the transgender community. Citing historical violations of human rights, the UACC’s long-standing advocacy for LGBTQ+ individuals, and the inherent dignity of all people as bearers of God’s image, Bishop Nicholas calls on leaders, lawmakers, and fellow citizens to foster a society rooted in love and acceptance—free from prejudice and discrimination.
